TabNap is a productivity browser extension designed to help you manage your workspace by automatically sleeping inactive tabs and organizing them into groups. We take your privacy seriously.

1. No Data Collection

TabNap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not track your browsing history, your IP address, or any other personally identifiable information. Your data never leaves your computer.

2. Local Processing Only

All information required for the extension to function (such as your settings, whitelist, and tab activity data) is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage.local API. This data is never uploaded to any external server or shared with third parties.

3. Use of Permissions

TabNap requests specific permissions to provide its core features:

• Tabs: To monitor activity and sleep inactive tabs to save memory.
• Storage: To save your preferences and whitelist locally.
• TabGroups: To organize your tabs into neat, native groups.
• Scripting: To temporarily update tab titles for sleep warnings.

These permissions are used exclusively for these functional purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services within the extension.
